The KH was the third Verada in the Third Generation.

Externally, the KH received only a minor facelift - with a new horizontal styled grille with chrome highlights, new front bumper, taillights, tinted glass and alloy wheel styles. The rear "high mounted" stop light was also changed, becoming a LED unit and placed at the top of the rear window instead of on the rear parcel shelf.

The KH also introduced a sophisticated traction control system, which monitored steering angle, lateral and linear acceleration. The signals received by the traction control system were then used to tell the engine control unit to vary the torque output of the engine.

The KH also became the first Verada to blur the lines between the Ei and Xi Verada, both offering similar levels of equipment.

Equipment/Trim Levels

Ei

The Ei included anti-lock brakes, electro luminescent instrument cluster, dual front airbags, alarm with immobiliser, remote central locking, power steering, cruise control, 16" alloy wheels, power windows, electric mirrors, climate control air conditioniong, imitation timber paneling, trip computer, external thermometer, metallic paint, front fog lights, 8 speaker radio/cassette with 6-disc CD player and traction control.

Xi

As with all Veradas before it, the Xi was available only as a sedan. It didn't feature very much over the Ei, adding only electric sunroof, steering wheel mounted audio controls, leather seats, trim, door inserts and leather wrapped steering wheel.
