As with it's TF Magna sibling, the KF Verada was a simple facelift, which primarily involved changes to equipment levels and trim. Externally, there was no difference between the KF Verada and the KE which preceeded it.

Major equipment changes include:

  • Dual airbags became standard equipment on Ei Verada
  • A speed alert unit was included as standard
  • The Ei Verada gained central locking with a remote boot opening feature (which was previously reserved for the Xi Verada)
  • New interior trim
  • Addition of a telephone harness

Trim Levels

Ei

Standard equipment for the Ei Verada includes ABS, power steering, climate control air conditioning, cruise control, speed alert, dual airbags electric windows, remote central locking with boot release and immobiliser and electric mirrors. The Ei also comes with square section, open seven spoke alloy wheels.

Xi

Featuring everything of the Ei with full leather trim, 10 stack CD player, steering wheel audio controls, a body electronic module baased alarm system, speed alert, electric driver's seat, dual front airbags and timber paneling for the doors, dash and console. The Xi also adds remote boot release to the keyless entry system. Optional is an electric sunroof.
