The RZ Colt is the cabriolet version of the seventh generation Colt and was released on the Australian market in June 2006. The cabriolet was designed by Pinifarina in Italy. It was available with one of two 1.5 litre engines - the 4A91 and the turbocharged 4G15 both DOHC with MIVEC. It was only available as a 5 speed manual.
Output from the 4A91 was rated at 77 kW at 6000 rpm with fuel consumption of 5.9L/100Km. The turbo pumped out 110 kW at 6000 rpm using 7.1L/100 Km.
The cabriolet uses a folding electric metal roof and can be stowed in 22 seconds after its two catches are released and the button is pressed. It comes standard with alloy wheels, ABS with electronic brake force distribution, four airbags, stability and traction control.
