The sixth generation Lancer was sold in Australia between October 1992 and June 1996. It was known as the CC model. It was built in Sedan, Station Wagon and Coupe body styles. The CC hatch was a carry over of the fifth generation Lancer.
Equipment/Trim Levels
GL
The GL Lancer was available in Coupe and Sedan body styles and powered by the 1.5L 12-valve Orion with carburettor. It was available with both the F5M21 5-speed manual and F3A21 3-speed automatic transaxles.
The GL had a radio-cassette player with reach/tilt adjustable steering column as standard with power steering optional. It was fitted with 13" steel rims.
